By the Banks of the Yarra River Warrandyte; a native wonderland
This artwork celebrates a native wonderland, a step, throw and a jump away from where I live. Walking beside the Yarra River in Warrandyte evokes a feeling of harmony, a sense of being grounded and present in nature and time standing still from the busyness of life. I am truly grateful to have such beauty at my doorstep. The landscape is forever changing throughout each Season and time of day. Late summer afternoons are my favourite time to visit, this is when the sunlight filters through the trees reflecting on the water appearing to sparkle. This painting captures the living colour of nature by the banks of the Yarra River in Warrandyte Victoria, a truly beautiful part of the world!
